Why Design/Build?

Since we design your landscape, we have a vested interest in the quality of your completed project. Design/Build is also known as single-source responsibility because we ensure that all aspects of creation and installation of your landscape flow smoothly. This can produce significant cost and resource savings through:

  1. Providing a single source for quality, cost, and schedule management
  2. Eliminating redesign and unnecessary construction drawings
  3. Reducing problems due to adversarial relationships.
  4. Allowing easier and ensuring better communication between project participants
  5. Emphasizing teamwork from conceptualization to the finished project
  6. Creating a greater degree of cooperation between the design and construction phases
  7. Including the owner as an important member of the team and requiring owner commitment of resources to the development of the project.

Design Process

We meet with potential clients to discuss the expectations and priorities of the individual based on:

The final plan is the blueprint for the construction crew to perform the installation, supervised by Paula Vermett, Landscape Architect. Ensuring design integrity, nothing will be lost in the translation between conception and construction.

Final plan includes:

A final walk-through of the completed landscape project with the client is made.
